All three of the Kendrick kids are
officially in preschool! Our schedule is very complicated this year as all three kids are in different classes at different times. Andrew and Allie are at a private preschool and Abbey will be attending
Pre-K at a public school. Last Spring, we had Abbey evaluated by the school district because she seemed to struggle in some areas. They did find that she has a developmental delay and needs a little extra help. It is kind of sad to see Andrew and Abbey split up but hopefully they will reunite next year in Kindergarten. They don't seem to be bothered by it though and we had a tear-free first week! I can't believe that my little Allie is a preschooler and that all three are in "school". Anyways, here are a few pictures of the kids.
Allie was understandably anxious about her first day. Here she is waiting for class to start, peeking in the little window.
This is my favorite one. Poor little Allie. I couldn't get her to smile to save my life so I asked her to try hard to smile for Mommy. She used her fingers to try her best to make a smile. So precious! She was too anxious to really smile.

Andrew kept telling me (and I think trying to tell himself) that he wasn't scared but you can tell by the look on his face that maybe he really was... just a little bit.

This is Andrew in front of his school with this painted horse that the kids have to "pet"
everytime we walk into or out of the school. This was before his open house/meet and greet the teacher day .
Abbey was excited for school and loves her new Tinkerbell backpack and pink lunchbox. She actually gets to eat at school and starting next week will take the school bus to and from our house.
Abbey with her teacher right after we got out of the car. She was ready to go in the school and didn't want to take a picture.
